shoulder padded

Shoulder padded leather jacket - Sylvia Rielle; snood - H&M; jean shorts - vintage; shoes - Aldo

Been a super busy week, deadlines, exams, work... on top of everything else, I fractured my wrist!! EKKKK... I know what you're probably thinking, "Is this girl made out of glass??" Indeed, sometimes I question myself... why the freak am I so fragile?!?!? Anyhoo, I leave you with a couple pictures from a night I went out last week, when, once-upon-a-time,  my wrist was still intact...
Hope you guys are having a better week than mine!

'cause no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted

I've been meaning to post about this event, and this is the perfect time to let you guys know about this charity fashion show at my university, the University of Western Ontario in a small city in Ontario, Canada, called London. So ladies and gents, may I present to you CAISA Fashion Show 2011, Allure!

CAISA Fashion Show is a student run charity fashion show that raises money for a local charity every year. This year, all the proceeds are going to the Palliative Care Program at the Children's Health Foundation in London. Every year the Fashion Show attracts over 3000 audience from all across Ontario. The Fashion Show is a huge production that brings fashion to the general public via runways and dance numbers. The best part is, they raise money to support a good cause! And here's where YOU come in!

The CAISA Fashion Show is one of the top finalist for the Blackberry/Campus Perks "the best life" contest. If they are chosen to be the winner, they can raise CAD$4000 towards their charity.  CAISA's goal is to "spread happiness". They are graded depending on how many tweets, likes, facebook mentions, etc. You can help Children's Health Foundation raise $4000 by just clicking like on facebook or tweeting about the event via the blackberry campus perks website: click HERE.
It'll bring you to the screen below:

Please share, tweet or like on the page! You will make a huge difference!! Trust me!!!

sands and stones

This weekend I got to spend time with some long lost friends; have amazing dinner at Al Pasha and watch belly dances; laugh at stand up comedian's rated r jokes; and ultimately after all the fun, came down with a fever... I hate the flu season, and above all, my weak immune system really.
I was wearing Moussy hat; Moussy jumper; American Apparel leggings; All Saints boots; bag from random boutique in Causeway Bay

Hope your weekend is filled with laughter and love ♥

A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future.

Top - American Apparel
Skirt - Asos
 Boots - Nine West

My cold is finally getting better from all the love you left me in the previous post. So thank you lovers!!

Hello Kitty <3

I went to tea at Sevva with a childhood friend, and had a delightful time. Nothing beats some delicious sandwiches and cakes and a cup of earl grey.
I knew this girl before I could walk and talk...

My current read... If I could be anyone for a day, I'd be her. She's a legend, and I am a fan.

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." - Coco Chanel.

Pencil Art

Mom and I both got sick... Yet, we still had to be bad girls and go out... For a good reason though! We didn't want to miss the last day of the Pencil Art Exhibition at LCX by Dalton Ghetti. This guy has got some amazing skills and patience! He sculpted on pencils out of razor blades, sewing needles and a sculpting knife!!! My mom and I were both in awe seeing his art. What a wicked carpenter... I've never seen anything quite like this!
You've gotta see the details of these.. so click on the pictures to enlarge!!
My favorite one has got to be this Elvis!
his tools.
Last but not least, I've gotta show you the HK skyline once again. It's the best in the world in my humblest opinion. I know I'm a bit biased but I just can't get enough of it! I'm gonna be hibernating at home for the next couple days and hopefully get rid of my stupid cold.

Have a great rest of the weekend my dears!

dreaming of the magical rose garden

Snood - American Apparel
Top - American Apparel
Jeans - Sparks
Shoes - BCBGeneration

When I was little, my papa always got me roses and put them on my bedside table, so I would wake up to them :). Hence my little obsession with roses (along with many others).

On a nonsensical note, it's colder in my apartment than it is out on the streets. Hong Kong should really invent some central heating. I used to think it was crazy that people from back home told me that it's really cold in the winter when it's 10 degrees celsius (This is my first winter in Hong Kong in years. I lived in Canada for most of my life, so I'm used to -30 celsius temperatures). Now I finally understand why...
I am freeeeeezzinggg!!!

Hope you're having a warmer Thursday than I am!

Elin Kling ♥ H&M

My obessession of the day is Elin Kling's collaboration with H&M. It's so inspiring to see bloggers do amazing things! This collection is just divine. I want it all!

This is the time when I really wish I lived in Stockholm. I need to have that maxi dress and the clutch! Perhaps if I wished hard enough, Genie would grant me this one little wish.

feeling furry

top - Jacob
faux fur vest - Talula
shorts - vintage
shoes - Jeffrey Campbell Lita

I went to watch Love and Other Drugs with the boy last night... And oh boy, I'm a sucker for sappy movies. When the movie ended and the lights started to come back on, you see people wiping down tears... I was one of them. There's nothing wrong with a little cry in the name of some good old romance.
I'm going out to do some shopping with mommy Hon. I'm in desperate need of some mother, daughter bonding time. Hope you guys are having a promising start to the week!  It's getting cold again in HK. Keep warm everyone!
